What we collect

Quiz answers: major interests, school-size/location/budget preferences, optional GPA/test scores, extracurricular interests, public/private preference
Email address: only if you voluntarily submit it to save/export your results
Analytics data: pages visited, general location (city/region level), device/browser type — if analytics is enabled
Advertising cookies: via Google AdSense, if enabled — see Cookie Policy section below

What we don't do

We do not require account creation to use the quiz
We do not sell your quiz answers or email address to third parties
We do not currently share data with college/university partners [update this immediately if/when affiliate or lead-gen partnerships are added, and disclose the specific partners here]

Minors

This Site is intended for use by high school students, including those under 18. Here's what that means in practice:

We only ask for what we need. To generate college matches we ask about preferences like major, location, and budget — not birthdate, full name, or anything else we don't need to run the quiz.
No account is required. The full quiz and results are usable without signing up for anything.
Sharing an email is always optional, and only used if you choose to save or receive your results.
We do not sell information belonging to minors, or any other visitor.
If advertising is enabled, visitors known to be minors are not shown personalized/targeted ads — ads shown to minors are not based on tracking activity across other sites.
You, or a parent/guardian on your behalf, can request deletion of your information at any time by contacting williamsoneragregg@gmail.com.

We've also aimed to design this Site so that its purpose is easy to understand at a glance, it doesn't use design tricks to pressure visitors into sharing information or make it hard to leave or decline something, and using the core quiz never requires more information than a prior version of the Site required.

This section reflects an interim, good-faith step while we work with legal counsel to fully align this policy with age-appropriate design requirements for sites used by minors, which are actively evolving. It will be updated once that review is complete.

Cookies and advertising

If AdSense or similar ad services are enabled, they may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can control this via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit, or through your browser settings. See also our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" notice.

Data retention

Quiz answers submitted with an email address are retained until deletion is requested. Anonymous quiz sessions (no email submitted) are not linked to any identifiable information.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
